Crosspoint
is a multigenerational church with a rich heritage and deep community
roots. Our seniors are a highly valued part of our church family,
and this group of individuals, aged 50 and up, continue to be actively
involved in church ministry in many ways.
- More than
50 people meet monthly for Best Years Fellowship dinners. This
same group provides meals to the local fire station monthly, for
home-bound seniors monthly, and are involved in other small outreach
projects.
- Our seniors'
Bible study meet Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m., led by Pastor Conard.
- Our newly
formed JOY ("Just Older Youth") group is an activity-based
group. Activities include bowling, games night, golf tournaments,
and bus trips.
- Our seniors
also mobilize other volunteers to organize and put on social events
that include the entire church family.
