What we are about:
Crosspoint Kids: more than just the norm. We are endeavoring to empower our kids to lead Christ-filled lives; to teach and release a new generation as fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
The Crosspoint Kids Ministry we see in our heads and in our hearts is one where kids are truly beginning to understand what it means to worship God; what it means to live a life of worship; what it means to be called by God. We don’t want our kids just to be taught, we want them to be empowered. We want them to know and understand that accepting Jesus as their forever friend is only the very beginning. They were not created to live only a saved life, but a called life. We want our kids to begin to see and recognize God working in their lives and to see God working in the lives of their leaders – to see the simple and natural side of God but also the complex, unexplainable, supernatural side of our living God. To know that He is always.
What we offer:
Parent’s Room (For infants aged 0 – crawling): A place where parents can come, bring their babies, enjoy service via tv stream, drink coffee, relax & let their babies play & be as loud as they want. Our parent’s room will be hosted by one of our awesome Crosspointers every week during second service to make your time there as enjoyable as possible!
Babes&Tots (crawling – 23 months): When dropping your little ones off in this room you can attend service knowing and assured that your kids are being loved and cared for in the most secure and fun of environments.
2 Year Olds: Oh the age of the sponge brain! We know that it is never too early to begin teaching our kids about the love of God and we do everything we can to meet our kids where they’re at. This class begins to address and engrain the basic life changing concepts about God’s love.
Preschool (ages 3-4): In this program your child will begin to understand who God is and learn these three basic truths:
- God Made Me
- God Loves Me
- Jesus Wants To Be My Forever Friend
Grades K-2 and 3-5: In our Elementary Program your child will be encouraged to grow in their relationship with God. We want all elementary kids to know:
- I need to make the WISE choice.
- I can TRUST GOD no matter what.
- I should treat OTHERS the way I want to be treated.
Parents: We want you to know that we will do everything we can to make sure your kids are a part of a loving, secure and fun environment. We respect the trust you put in us and do not take it for granted!
Message from Emily:
I really truly believe that as we heed the instructions of God, as we empower our kids, and teach them how to live lives sold out for Jesus that things will begin to change; that supernatural transformation will take place. I believe that the forward, holy momentum Crosspoint has already been experiencing will speed up even more. I believe that as our kids open their mouths, lift their hands, give their lives in worship to our Creator that this Church will see and experience new and incredible things. So, that is our aim. To teach a new generation what it means to be saved and called by God; to teach them how and when to praise. All of it…and it is going to be completely awesome!!
